Sauna Guidelines
For your comfort, safety, and the enjoyment of all guests:
•Please shower before entering the sauna.
•A towel and robe are provided and should be worn at all times.
•Please keep the sauna door closed as a courtesy to other guests and to maintain the proper temperature.
•Stay well hydrated before, during, and after your sauna session.
•We recommend taking a break from the heat every 15–20 minutes.
•If you feel faint, dizzy, nauseous, or otherwise unwell, exit the sauna immediately and notify a member of our team.
Membership Terms
Your Sauna Membership is $100 per month and automatically renews each month until canceled in accordance with 1820 Spa's Sauna Membership Terms & Conditions.
Sauna sessions are subject to availability and may require advance reservation. Membership benefits are personal to the member and may not be transferred or shared.
The 10% service and retail discounts cannot be combined with other discounts or promotional offers unless otherwise stated.
1820 Spa reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership for nonpayment, misuse of membership benefits, or violation of spa policies.
Your Safety Comes First
Sauna use is a voluntary wellness activity. Please consult your physician before using the sauna if you have any medical conditions, are pregnant or may be pregnant, take medications that may affect your response to heat, or have any concerns about sauna use.
Do not use the sauna while under the influence of alcohol or substances that may impair your judgment or ability to respond to heat.
By purchasing and using a Sauna Membership, you acknowledge and agree to the 1820 Spa Sauna Membership Terms & Conditions and Sauna Safety Guidelines.
These Sauna Membership Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all sauna memberships purchased through 1820 Spa. By purchasing or using a Sauna Membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, as well as 1820 Spa’s general policies and sauna safety guidelines.
Sauna Membership
A Sauna Membership provides the member with access to designated sauna sessions at 1820 Spa according to the membership selected at the time of purchase.
Membership benefits are personal to the member and may not be transferred, shared, or sold to another person unless specifically permitted by 1820 Spa.
Sauna Memberships are intended for personal wellness use and do not include access to other spa services unless specifically stated as a membership benefit.
Membership Billing
Sauna Memberships are billed automatically on a recurring basis using the payment method provided at enrollment.
Membership charges will continue on the applicable billing cycle until the membership is canceled in accordance with these Terms.
Members are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method on file. If a payment is declined, 1820 Spa may suspend membership benefits until the account is brought current.
Membership pricing and benefits may be changed by 1820 Spa with advance notice. Existing members will be notified of any changes that affect their membership.
Membership Term & Cancellation
Minimum Commitment:
Sauna Memberships require an initial commitment of 3 months. After the initial commitment, the membership continues month-to-month and may be canceled with at least 14 days’ notice before the next billing date.
Once a membership payment has been processed, that payment is non-refundable except where required by law or otherwise approved by 1820 Spa.
Sauna Reservations
Sauna sessions are subject to availability and may require advance reservation.
Members are encouraged to reserve their sessions in advance. Membership access does not guarantee availability at a particular date or time.
Members must arrive on time for their scheduled session. Late arrival does not extend the scheduled session time.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in additional restrictions or termination of membership at the discretion of 1820 Spa.
Membership Benefits & Unused Sessions
Membership benefits must be used during the applicable membership period and do not roll over to the following billing period unless expressly stated otherwise.
Unused sauna sessions have no cash value and may not be exchanged for other services, transferred to another person, or carried forward.
Promotional or complimentary membership benefits may be subject to additional restrictions.
Guest Access
Unless specifically included in the membership purchased, Sauna Membership benefits are for the member only.
Guests may not use a member’s sauna sessions or membership benefits without authorization from 1820 Spa.
Any guest access included with a membership is subject to 1820 Spa’s guest policies, availability, and applicable age and safety requirements.
Sauna Safety & Wellness Guidelines
Members must review and follow all sauna safety instructions provided by 1820 Spa. Sauna use is voluntary and should be discontinued immediately if the member feels dizzy, lightheaded, nauseous, faint, excessively fatigued, or otherwise unwell.
Members should consult with an appropriate healthcare professional before using the sauna if they have any medical condition, are pregnant or believe they may be pregnant, take medications that may affect heat tolerance or hydration, or have any other concern regarding sauna use.
Members must not use the sauna while under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that may impair judgment or the ability to respond appropriately to heat.
1820 Spa reserves the right to refuse or discontinue sauna use when staff reasonably believe that continued use may present a safety concern.
Age Requirements
Sauna users must meet 1820 Spa’s minimum age requirements.
Members under the age of 18 may be subject to additional restrictions or may require a parent or legal guardian’s consent and/or supervision.
Sauna Conduct
Members are expected to treat the spa, sauna, staff, and other guests with care and respect.
The following are prohibited:
•Excessive noise or disruptive behavior
•Harassment or inappropriate conduct toward staff or guests
•Use of the sauna while intoxicated
•Food or beverages other than those specifically permitted by 1820 Spa
Oils, lotions, products, or other substances that may damage the sauna or interfere with its proper operation
•Activities that create a safety hazard or damage spa property
•Any behavior that violates 1820 Spa’s policies or applicable law
1820 Spa reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive conduct.
Personal Belongings
Members are responsible for their personal belongings while visiting 1820 Spa.
1820 Spa is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
Facility Closures & Maintenance
Sauna availability may occasionally be affected by maintenance, repairs, equipment issues, weather, staffing, or other circumstances beyond 1820 Spa’s reasonable control.
If a reserved session must be canceled by 1820 Spa, the spa will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the session or provide an appropriate replacement benefit.
Membership Termination
1820 Spa reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership for:
•Failure to make required payments
•Violation of these Terms or spa policies
•Unsafe or inappropriate behavior
•Misuse of membership benefits
•Providing false or misleading information
•Conduct that may endanger staff, guests, or spa property
Termination for violation of these Terms may result in the loss of remaining membership benefits without refund, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to Membership Terms
1820 Spa may update these Terms from time to time. Members will be notified of material changes that affect their membership.
Continued use of the membership following the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Agreement
By purchasing and using an 1820 Spa Sauna Membership, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the 1820 Spa Sauna Membership Terms & Conditions. You understand that sauna use involves inherent risks, including heat-related illness, dizziness, fainting, dehydration, and other injury, and you voluntarily assume these risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree not to hold 1820 Spa, Brut Hotel, Boulder Plaza Lofty Enterprises, or their owners, employees, contractors, or representatives responsible or liable for any injury, loss, damage, or mishap arising from your use of the sauna. By purchasing or using an 1820 Spa Sauna Membership, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Sauna Membership Terms & Conditions, the applicable sauna safety guidelines, and 1820 Spa’s general policies.
